Born in 1981, Tony is an up-and-coming Beirut-based filmmaker. After completing a Masters in film studies, ElKhoury forged his skills directing and shooting music videos for international and local artists such as NY-based music producer Nickodemus, Lebanese composer Ziad Rahbani, Canadian band Wake Island and Beirut’s singer-songwriter Oak. Since 2012 ElKhoury took on an independent filmmaker journey, he has been director, cinematographer and producer on several corporate films for large international clients such as Radical Media New York, VICE News.

Anthony Lappé is a New York-based author, producer and director. He began his career in journalism as a freelance contributor to The New York Times and a producer for MTV News & Specials. He went on to produce the award-winning Showtime documentary about the Iraq war, BattleGround. He was the Executive Editor of the Sundance-awarding winning Guerrilla News Network. He has written for Details, ESPN: The Magazine, New York Magazine, and the South China Morning Post, among many others. In addition, he has produced programming for Fuse, PBS, National Geographic Channel and the Discovery Science Channel. He is the author of the graphic novel, Shooting War (Grand Central), which was published in 4 languages and is currently being developed into a scripted television series. More recently, he was a writer/producer for Radical Media, where he wrote Robert Redford’s 3D documentary Cathedrals of Culture: The Salk Institute, which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival. He is currently the showrunner of Black Market starring Michael K. Williams, a global docu-series for VICE's upcoming television network.

Allen Seif, also known as Oak, is a multi-disciplinary artist and singer-songwriter currently based in Beirut. He’s lived extensively overseas, writing and performing his music in France, Australia and New Zealand as well as touring in Europe. With a BA in Music, an EP ‘The Last Minute’ and album ‘On the Borderline (Between the Heart and the Mind)’, Oak is well known for his insightful and thought provoking lyrics, pop hooks and evocative sound-scapes.
Allen met Tony ElKhoury three years ago and set up a generative partnership collaborating on a number of musical projects before creating Still See a Spark Films. ‘Lebanon Wins the World Cup’ is their first big screen project developed in collaboration with New York-based director Anthony Lappé. Oak wrote and recorded the original score for the documentary as well as being the producer and the graphic designer.
